Day 30 The Power of Yes

 2 Corinthians 1:20

For every one of God's promises are "Yes" in him; therefore also through him the "Amen" is spoken, to the glory we give to God.

Through Jesus, the answer to every one of God's promises is yes. This truth really excites me. I am reminded that when fear and doubt want to whisper in my ear that, "Is is true that God loves you?" I can stand on the promise that nothing can seperate me from God's love.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35-39 (NKJV

 He has redeemed me.

“He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

On the days that I need wisdom, which honestly is every day. I need to remember not to lean on my own understanding, but instead to trust Him.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

He goes before me, and is with me, every step of the journey.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

He has set me free.

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

God is a God of abundance, and He will provide. He is the giver of all good things.

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

What promise are you standing on today?
